Pioneer Bank awards employees

Pioneer Bank has been serving our communities since 1901 and we are so proud of our growth and commitment not only to our employees, but also to our customers.  We recently awarded our team members for their hard work in helping us succeed to be the bank that all other banks strive to be.

We have three team members who recently celebrated anniversaries with Pioneer Bank:

Eric Ehler receives his 10-year certificate from bank President Christopher Palmer

Eric Ehler, CCBSO/Asst. Vice President | Retail Banking Operations/Business Development/Information Security Officer, was honored for being a part of our family for 10 years. “Over Eric’s ten years with Pioneer Bank, he has grown and strengthened as an individual and as a Pioneer Bank Team member,” stated Denise Gendreau, Vice President – Retail Operations. “There is no task that has discouraged him, and every challenge has only made him stronger.  He is always hungry to learn more and be more.  Without hesitation, he is eager to share his knowledge with all his Team mates.  His career with the Bank has given him a diverse perceptive from teller, manager, operations manager, security officer, vendor manager …. etc.  The list is long and impressive.”

In Hobbs, Cristina Carranza, Teller Supervisor/CSR III/Team Leader, and Stephanie Medina, CSR III/Teller II/HPC Captain/Team Leader, both were awarded with their 5-year certificates. “Congratulations!” says Deena Palmer, Vice President/Branch Manager.  “We are very proud of Stephanie and Cristina for all their hard work, their professional development over the years and their dedication.  As you can tell with all their titles that they are a wealth of knowledge and great resources to our customers and to their fellow team members. Stephanie and Cristina are always willing to help wherever they are needed. What I enjoy most about Stephanie is her warm, sincere and easy going attitude which makes her a joy to work with.  Everyone enjoys Cristina singing behind the teller line and jovial demeanor while she is keeping everything and everyone on task.”

Nikiyah Simpson receives her Teller II certificate from Asst. Branch Manager, Kim Wing

We have two team members who have been promoted after completing extensive training:

Alamogordo has promoted Nikiyah Simpson to Teller II.  “Nikiyah has worked hard to reach Teller II,” stated Kim Wing, Assistant Branch Manager.  “She is excited to learn new things and gives 100% everyday.  Nikiyah goes the extra mile for her customers.  She is a true asset to Pioneer Bank. I look forward to what her future holds.”

Katrina Amerman of Roswell was promoted to Teller II. “Katrina joined Pioneer Bank after working at another bank in the community,” said Carolyn Bell, Asst. Vice President/Retail Operations.  “Katrina is very kind and a hard worker.  She is always striving for excellence with Pioneer Bank.”

We are also excited to announce that all three Roswell branches earned an OUTSTANDING on their audits. These audits test our team on customer service, branch presentation, knowledge of policies and procedures as well as our products.  We are so proud of each and every team member who has worked so hard to serve our customers.  Pioneer Bank has two year’s running with the Albuquerque Journal’s Top Workplace and we only get there because of the dedication and efforts our team members provide to help us excel.
