Pioneer Bank is pleased to announce Chad Cole, a native of Roswell, has joined our professional team. Chad comes with a wealth of experience in accounting and has been appointed as Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) by the board of directors.

Hitchcock, President and CEO of Pioneer Bank. “Chad’s wealth of experience will help move us forward in a direction to continue to grow the Bank and provide outstanding customer service.”
Chad joins Pioneer Bank with over 15 years’ experience in professional accounting. “I am excited to devote my efforts to the Bank’s financial operations,” said Chad. “I look forward to working with the management and staff of Pioneer Bank.”
Chad is a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU), where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration Accounting & Business Administration degree.
Chad returned to Roswell to work in several positions within the Accounting Department of Roswell’s world-class mozzarella cheese manufacturing plant, and subsequently accepted a Staff Accountant position with a locally owned and well established public accounting firm. Chad received the benefit of exceptional mentorship and experience from local professionals while working in the areas of administration, with an emphasis on cost and fund accounting. He later attended Regis University’s College for Professional Studies of Denver, CO, where he received a Master of Business Administration – Finance and Accounting degree – graduating with honors.
In 2005, Chad joined the Roswell Independent School District (RISD) as the Grant Accountant and Charter School Business Manager. In 2009, he continued with RISD as the Chief Financial Officer and was additionally assigned responsibility over district operations in 2012.
Pioneer Bank began in 1901 as Roswell Building and Loan Association. It has grown to be one of the largest community banks in the region with sixteen branches and mortgage loan offices in New Mexico, Texas and Colorado.
